Brad Owen limped the hijack, Luis Velador made it 15,000 in the cutoff, and Allen Kessler three-bet to 40,000 on the button. Owen then jammed for 142,000, Velador painfully folded, and Kessler called all-in for 135,000.

"Allen three-bet, what do you think he had?" joked tablemate Shaun Deeb as the hands were tabled.

Owen was in rough shape with no low potential and the dominated pair. He found no help on the 97227 runout as Kessler improved to trip twos for the double as Owen was left on crumbs.

Deeb kept on going, "Don't you love these new mixed game players, Allen? They don't know your tendencies."
