Timoshenko Picks Up Aces to Double Off Furth

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Yevgeniy Timoshenko raised to 140,000 in early position and Bruno Furth called on the button, while big blind Christopher Vitch also came along.

The flop came 269 and action checked to Furth who bet 150,000. Vitch folded, but Timoshenko moved all in for 305,000 and Furth snap-called.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko: AAQ2 All in
Bruno Furth: 7432

Timoshenky was ahead with his aces but needed to dodge Furth's straight and flush draws as well as a low draw. The 9 turn was safe for Timoshenko, while the river was the J and Timoshenko held on to double up.
