Chen Wins a Multi-Way Pot With Trips

James Chen made it 600 to go from early position with Bart Hanson calling from the next seat, David Prociak calling from the small blind, and Calen McNeil defending his big blind.

After the blinds checked the 63Q flop, Chen bet 1,300. Hanson and Prociak called, but McNeil folded.

The 9 turn checked through to see the Q appear on the river. Everyone checked and Chen took down the pot with trip queens holding AKQ5.

Hanson Applies Pressure to McNeil

After an open and a call, Calen McNeil potted the button to 2,400. In the big blind, Bart Hanson four-bet pot to 8,000, and McNeil called.

On the K54 flop, Hanson continued for 13,000. McNeil would tank for nearly two minutes before he tossed in the call.

On the 5 turn, Hanson jammed for 27,000, and McNeil folded rather quickly this time, as the first all-in of the tournament was not met with a call.

Catching the action on the turn of a board that showed 57JQ. Andrew Voor was first to act from the cutoff and bet 6,800, which was the size of the pot. Anil Jivani was on the button and made the call.

The dealer dropped the 2 on the river and Voor bet 20,000. Jivani pondered for a few moments, but ultimately, chose to fold and surrender the pot to Voor.

Vaughn Shows the Table His Boat

Ronald Keijzer raised to 1,100 on the button with Jeffrey Vaughn calling from the small blind, and Andreas Frohli defending out of the big blind.

When it checked to Keijzer on the Q63 flop he bet 1,200, which Vaughn and Frohli called.

Three checks followed the 6 turn to see the 10 appear on the river. Vaughn led out for 3,000 and was met by a raise to 9,000 from Frohli. Keijzer got out of the way, but Vaughn three-bet to 19,000. Frohli thought for a little while and then folded his hand.

Vaughn revealed that he had the goods with KK1010 for a rivered full house.

Conrad Leads the River

Chris Conrad from under the gun, Tom Koral from the cutoff, and Adrian Buckley on the button were tangled in a pot.

With the board reading K657, the action checked to Koral who bet 8,500, just under the size of the pot. Buckley folded but Conrad called.

On the 4 river, Conrad opted to lead as he slid forward a stack of six pink T-5,000 chips for a pot-sized bet. Koral reluctantly gave it up after some consideration.
