Dennis Weiss
Dennis Weiss

Brian Hastings raised to 100,000 under the gun and Sam Soverel called in the small blind. Dennis Weiss then moved all in for 170,000 in the big blind and Hastings announced pot. Soverel repotted and Hastings called for his last 1,100,000.

Dennis Weiss: K985 All in
Brian Hastings: AA107 All in
Sam Soverel: AA74

Both Hastings and Soverel showed two aces and had Weiss at risk as the flop came 2Q10. "Jack!" Weiss pleaded going to the turn, which came the 6.

"Jack!" he repeated, and he got his wish this time as the J river gave him a straight and the triple up, while Hastings and Soverel chopped the side pot.

Bruno Furth made it 90,000 to go from under the gun, and Shaun Deeb called from the next seat. Yevgeniy Timoshenko squeezed to 420,000 from the cutoff with 625,000 behind. Furth folded, but Deeb called.

Once Deeb checked the KJ9 flop, Timoshenko jammed his 625,000 into the middle. Deeb mulled it over for a while before making the call to put Timoshenko at risk.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko: AQ53 All in
Shaun Deeb: AJ82

Timoshenko had a straight draw against Deeb's pair of jacks. The K on the turn gave Timoshenko a few more outs, but the Q river improved Deeb to flush, eliminating Timoshenko in 16th place.

Furth Pays Off Deeb

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The action folded to Bruno Furth in the small blind who limped and Shaun Deeb checked his option in the big blind.

On the Q93 flop, Furth led with a min-bet of 40,000 and Deeb called.

The Q turn checked through to the 3 river which saw Furth check again, Deeb bet 125,000, and Furth called fairly quick. Deeb tabled KQ43 for a slow-played full house as he got some river value from Furth.

Narcis Nedelcu

Bruno Furth raised to 120,000 from middle position and Narcis Nedelcu potted it to 410,000 from the small blind. When it got back to Furth, he called.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 710J and Nedelcu jammed his last 500,000 into the middle. Furth made the call.

Narcis Nedelcu: AK43 All in
Bruno Furth: A1095

Furth had a pair of tens against the straight draw and backdoor low draw of Nedelcu. The 7 turn meant only a queen or king could save Nedelcu. The 5 landed on the river, and Nedelcu headed to the cashier's desk to collect his 15th-place payout.

Thursday Slots Will Have to Wait as Kessler Doubles

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

"Do your investors know you're more worried about fantasy points than money," Brian Hastings joked with Allen Kessler.

"It's Thursday, so if I bust out now I can go play slots and make some money. There's a 10X multiplier today," Kessler replied.

"Do your investors know you're thinking about slots?" Hastings added.

"I know about slots. I don't know much about poker, but I know about slots," Kessler said.

Philip Sternheimer then raised to 125,000 under the gun and Kessler moved all in for 390,000 in the big blind. "This is the moment," Kessler said as Sternheimer took a minute before calling.

Allen Kessler: AA54 All in
Philip Sternheimer: AQQ10

"Is it at least a three-way all in to guarantee 13th?" Shaun Deeb yelled out from the other table. The board ran out 67663 and Kessler improved to a full house to earn the double up.

Bruno Furth opened the button to 125,000 and Christopher Vitch defended his big blind.

The A95 flop checked through to the 8 turn which saw Vitch lead for 250,000, and Furth called.

On the 2 river, Vitch potted for 825,000 which sent Furth into the tank. After over a minute, Furth slid a stack forward to call.

"I have the high," announced Vitch as he tabled KK87 for the nut flush. Furth could not table a low as he mucked and Vitch scooped a huge won.

Siegel had a set against the straight flush draw of Sternheimer.

The 10 hit the turn, improving Siegel to a boat and leaving Sternheimer with just a few outs to win. The A landed on the river to give Sternheimer the best hand in poker, a royal flush, and send Siegel to the rail in 14th place.
