Uvaydov then limped the button with the 97 and then called a raise to 16,000,000 by Roiter with the K9. The Q108 flop provided draws to both players and Roiter bet for 12,000,000, Uvaydov called.

Roiter Comes Out Swinging

Level 44 : Blinds 2,500,000/5,000,000, 5,000,000 ante

David Uvaydov raised to 12,500,000 on the button with KJ and Klemens Roiter three-bet jammed in the big blind for 206,000,000 with AQ to put himself at risk.

Uvaydov took some time to think through his decision knowing that he could potentially end the tournament.

"That's a big shove. That is a big shove," said Uvaydov, ultimately tossing his cards into the muck.

"You have like 40 bigs right? Might have folded the best hand," continued Uvaydov as the pot was pushed Roiter's way.

Ashish Gupta: QJ All in
David Uvaydov: AQ

The Aussie needed to come from behind again to avoid elimination like he had done very early into the final table already. However, this time there was no escaping on the KQ656 and that spelled the end for Gupta.

Having come into the final last in chips, the Pot-Limit Omaha and mixed game specialist laddered up all the way to third place for a payday of $604,277 - his far best cash in a live poker tournament. The tournament is now in heads-up and a short break follows before Uvaydov and Klemens Roiter will battle for the WSOP gold bracelet.

Klemens Roiter opened the second hand in a row, this time to 10,000,000 with 97. Ashush Gupta three-bet jammed the second time and his KJ won the pot without resistance.

David Uvaydov then limped the 99 from the small blind and Roiter checked the 74 from the big blind to hit second pair on the 542 flop. Both players checked to the 8 turn on which Uvaydov bet 10,000,000 with his overpair. Roiter called and failed to improve with the 8 on the river.

Uvaydov needed some time to make up his mind on what to do next and then bet 40,000,000 to force a fold from the chip leader.
