James Leonard Eliminated in 6th Place ($268,520)

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
James Leonard
James Leonard

The action folded to James Leonard on the button and he pushed all-in for 37,500,000 as the second-shortest stack. Ivan Ruban in the small blind had even fewer chips behind and glanced at the tournament info screen before folding the 65.

Chip leader Klemens Roiter in the big blind asked for a count and then called.

James Leonard: A8 All in
Klemens Roiter: A9

Both had nearly identical strong aces and hit their kickers on the 987 flop to leave Leonard in rough shape. The 9 turn improved Roiter to unbeatable trips and that made the J river a formality. Roiter scored the second elimination of this final day and Leonard bowed out in sixth place for $268,520.

Dylan Linde Eliminated in 7th Place ($207,647)

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Ashish Gupta raised to 6,000,000 holding the A10 and met resistance by David Uvaydov, who three-bet to 13,500,000 with the AK in the cutoff. It folded back to the Aussie and he reluctantly folded to continue the careful proceedings of the final table so far.

However, that would only last one more hand when a setup unfolded.

Dylan Linde raised to 6,000,000 in the hijack and Klemens Roiter in the small blind inquired about his stack size at the start of the hand before three-betting to 17,000,000. Now it was on Linde to glance towards the other side of the table and figure out how many chips his opponent had.

One minute later, Linde then clicked it back with a four-bet to 29,000,000 for more than one third of his stack.

"Can I have a quick glance at your stack?" Roiter inquired and Linde moved away his arm for a split second. Roiter pushed all-in and Linde called but already shook his head while doing so, seemingly knowing what inevitable showdown would follow.

Dylan Linde: KK All in
Klemens Roiter: AA

The board ran out 662QA brought no help to Linde with Roiter improving to aces full.

"Sorry Dylan, setup hand," Roiter said when they shook hands. The run of Linde came to an end in seventh place and the two-time bracelet winner had to settle for a payday of $207,647.

Roiter Four-Bets Lei

Klemens Roiter

Ashish Gupta opened the action with a raise to 6,000,000 holding the AQ and he earned folds from Ivan Ruban on the button with the A8 as well as Klemens Roiter, who had the K10 in the small blind. Daniel Lei also let go of K6 and the Aussie claimed the pot.

Up next, James Leonard raised to 6,000,000 with AQ and found no resistance either.

Klemens Roiter made it 6,000,000 next with the AQ and Daniel Lei three-bet to 13,500,000 in the next seat with the KQ. Dylan Linde in the small blinds folded the 88 and it went back to Roiter. After some consideration, he four-bet to 23,000,000 and Lei needed about as much time to send his cards into the muck.

Uvaydov Wins Back-to-Back Pots

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante

Klemens Roiter raised to 6,000,000 in middle position with Q9 and David Uvaydov three-bet to 17,500,000 in the small blind with QQ.

James Leonard folded 73 in the big blind after not realizing at first that he still had cards in front of him.

Roiter quickly folded and the pot was pushed Uvaydov's way.

The next hand, Daniel Lei raised to 6,000,000 in middle position with A10 and Uvaydov three-bet on the button to 15,000,000 with A10.

Lei folded and Uvaydov won back-to-back pots.

Updated Counts for the Final Seven

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante

Dylan Linde laid down pocket fours and David Uvaydov then raised to 6,000,000 with the A2 in the next seat. It folded all the way back to Ashish Gupta in the big blind and he defended the Q10 to the J73 flop. Gupta checked and Uvaydov continued to win the pot right there without any resistance.

In the very next hand, James Leonard open-jammed for 45,000,000 with the KQ and got through all opponents.

Table short stack Ivan Ruban was next to get his chips into the middle, raising to 10,000,000 for nearly one third of his stack with AJ. Klemens Roiter in the hijack was very interested and tank-folded the KQ. Gupta on the button folded the A9 and both blinds got out of the way as well.

Gupta Cracks Kings to Double

Level 42 : Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Ashish Gupta
Ashish Gupta

Daniel Lei raised to 6,000,000 from under the gun and Ashish Gupta three-bet jammed for 31,000,000 in middle position to put himself at risk. Ivan Ruban made the call in the small blind and Lei got out of the way.

Ashish Gupta: 1010 All in
Ivan Ruban: KK

The flop came 9Q3 with Ruban still out in the lead with a pair of kings. That was until the 10 fell on the turn, with Gupta improving to trips.

Ruban still had outs with the king, jack, or heart but Gupta was able to fade it when the 8 rolled off on the river, earning him the double up.
