Patouilliart Flops Trips

On the button, Raymond Mancini bet 14,000 on a board of A♠A♥10♠7♦ and a pot of around 25,000. Paul Patouilliart, in the big blind and who checked earlier, decided to go beyond and make it 50,000. Mancini slowly picked up his chips to make the call.

The river 4♦ fell, and after a few seconds of thought, Patouilliart shot out 58,000, sending Mancini to the tank. Mancini stared at what he had left behind and separated the 58,000 as he shuffled it and considered his options.

He finally made the call just to throw his hand into the muck pile when he saw Patouilliart's A♣3♥ for trips on the flop.

Erik Svoboda raised to 6,000 from late position and was called by Corentin Soulier in the big blind.

The players saw a 10♥J♦K♥ flop. Soulier checked, Svoboda bet 3,000, and Soulier called.

The turn brought the 4♣. Soulier checked again, and this time, Svoboda bet 12,000. Soulier called.

Action checked through on the K♣ river. Soulier tabled A♠J♣, which was good enough to win the hand.

The floor has announced the final prize pool and payouts.

A total of 9,920 entrants has resulted in a total prize pool of $13,168,800. The final 1,488 players will get paid, with a minimum cash prize of $3,018. All final tablists will receive a six-figure payday ($126,705 being paid to ninth place), but all players will be eyeing up the cool $1,204,457 for first place and the coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet.

Anderson Beats Lima's Fives

Francis Anderson opened for 6,500 and got a caller in Nicolas Kohan in the small blind. Karina Lima, decided to shove all in from the big blind for about 58,000, prompting Anderson to ask for a count.

After the count was made, Anderson responded with his own all-in jam, pushing Kohan out of the pot and leaving the two players to head to showdown.

Francis Anderson: K♥10♥

Anderson need to hit one of his overcards to beat Lima's pocket fives. It didn't happen when the flop dropped 9♥2♣J♦, but the K♦ turn gave Anderson what he wanted, leaving Lima to hope for a miracle. That miracle didn't arrive on the A♥ river, eliminating Lima as Anderson scooped the pot.

The board ran out K♥10♣2♠6♠2♦ improving Carino to tens-full, and To was headed to the rail.

Andrew Murphy opened for 6,000 under the gun and got one caller in the big blind, Davis Aalvik. The flop came 6♦2♣4♣ and after a check, Murphy continued with an 8,000 bet. Aalvik called.

On the turn A♥, Murphy fired 17,000 which was enough to make Aalvik fold.

Finger Gets Sticky

Martin Finger raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and was called by Khalifa Tayar on the button and Martin Stausholm in the big blind.

Action checked through on the 6♦8♣5♥ flop.

On the turn 8♠, Stausholm led out for 17,000. Finger called, while Tayar folded.

The river brought the 10♦. Stausholm tossed out two green chips and two yellow chips, representing a bet of 52,000. Finger stared at his opponent for a moment, hoping to get a read. Eventually, he made the call. Stausholm tabled Ax9♠, which was no good. Finger's A♠5♣ was the winner, and he dragged in a nice pot to start Day 2.
