Don't Leave, Adawi!

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Peter Dykes raised to 12,000 in early position and got a caller in Anas Adawi on the button. Big blind Samuel Ferguson, had other things in mind, and shoved all-in for a little bit more than 400,000. Dykes folded his hand but Ferguson made the call taking both players to showdown.

Anas Adawi: AQ All in
Samuel Ferguson: 77

Adawi not hopeful with the possible results of the deal, immediately stood up, swung his backpack on his back ready to leave. The dealer dealt a K93 flop keeping Ferguson's sevens intact and making Adawi move his body sideways pushing his chair out.

The turn Q changed things as it gave Adawi a pair that beats Ferguson. He remained standing but with his bag back on the floor. The river 8 was dealt and Adawi sat back down to scoop the pot for a double up leaving Ferguson with only around 5 big blinds left.

Most poker players at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) agree that Nick Schulman is heading into the Poker Hall of Fame this summer and it’s getting harder to argue otherwise.

On Thursday, Schulman was awarded his seventh WSOP bracelet in the $10,000 2-7 Championship, the third time he's won that event, further cementing his legacy as one of the game’s all-time greats.
