Roiter Making Moves

Level 2 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Thomas Boivin opened under the gun to 5,000, Vinny Ligham called in early position, and Klemens Roiter defended his big blind.

All three players checked the 786 flop and moved on to the A turn.

Roiter checked for a second time, as did Boivin, which gave Lingham the green light to bet. He threw out 8,000, but Roiter had a plan and check-raised to 35,000.

Both Boivin and Lingham folded quickly as Roiter scooped the pot.
