Cooler Flop Sends Negreanu Packing

Level 14 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

David Chen opened to 100,000 in early position and Daniel Negreanu defended from the big blind. The flop came A93 and Negreanu check-called a small bet from Chen.

The turn brought the K and Negreanu checked again. Chen splashed in a bet of 125,000 and Negreanu stuck around for the 8 on the river. Negreanu checked for the third time and Chen announced all in. Negreanu nearly beat him into the pot with his stack of around 350,000.

Chen rolled over 99 for a set of nines and Negreanu was in disbelief as he tabled A3 for two pair. Negreanu was left mumbling to himself as he headed to the rail with his camera on.

Haxton Hits a Three-Outer to Bust Perry

Level 14 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Isaac Haxton opened to 120,000 and was called by Mathew Frankland, who was on his direct left in the hijack. Sean Perry then three-bet to 310,000 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Haxton, who put in enough T-1,000,000 chips to have both opponents at risk for their tournament lives. Frankland folded while Perry called off his stack of a little more than one million.

Sean Perry: AKAll in
Isaac Haxton: AQ

Perry had Haxton dominated and became the bigger favorite after the 855 flop, but Haxton took the lead on the Q turn and secured the bust out after the 3 river.
