Three ways on fourth street, Wendy Freedman bet and was called by Andrew Robinson and Jeff Madsen.

Freedman bet again on fifth, which got a fold from Robinson and a raise from Madsen. Freedman called.

On sixth street, Madsen paired his six and Freedman bet after pairing her three. Madsen raised again with just a couple hundred behind and Freedman raised to put Madsen all in. Madsen called and hands were revealed.

Freedman peeled a 6x to end with a nine-low and Madsen turned over a Qx — eliminating him from the tournament.

Poker Hall of Famer Linda Johnson, affectionately known as the "First Lady of Poker", has been paving the way for women to compete in the male-dominated world of poker for decades and is off to a good start.

In a recent hand, Ian Steinman opened from middle position and was called by Johnson in the hijack. Makoto Nagino three-bet on the button and was called by Scott Carlson in the big blind as well as Steinman and Johnson for a four-way pot.

Action checked through on the 3♥10♦A♣ flop and it was checked to Johnson again on the 10♥ turn. Johnson made a bet and all of her opponents quickly folded in turn.
