Merivirta Runs Into Kost's Set

Kost hit top set on the Q54 flop, while the rest of the board ran out 9A to secure him the pot and send Merivirta to the rail.

Dan Zack, Matt Glantz, and Huck Seed were also among those recently eliminated.

Castelluccio Shows Down Aces

Scott Castelluccio raised in middle position and picked up calls from Scott Seiver in the cutoff, as well as Shon Wilson and Edward Weisbaum in the blinds.

Seewald Survives on the River Against Hunichen

Chris Hunichen raised on the button and Jonah Seewald and Stephane Faure called in the blinds.

The flop came K85 and Hunichen continued with a bet. Seewald then raised and Faure got out of the way. "Four in the dark if you call," Seewald said, holding up his last 4,000. Hunichen instead reraised and Seewald tossed in his last chips.

"You're winning," Seewald said heading to the turn, which was the 9. "You're still winning," he added, but Seewald spiked trips on the 5 river to win the pot and double up.
