Arora Hits the Turn, Kyte Spikes the River For a Bustout

Aalok Arora bet his last chips from the cutoff on a flop of 534 and Jon Kyte called in the big blind.

Kyte was ahead with two pair, but Arora hit a straight on the 6 turn. The river, though, was the 7 to give Kyte a higher straight with a low to scoop the pot and send Arora to the rail.

Bral Triples While Spurlin Gets a Side

Jason Bral raised from under the gun and Jordan Spurlin three-bet on the button which saw Eric Garcia call in the big blind. Bral raised again and both Spurlin and Garcia called.

The flop rolled out 4810. Garcia checked to Bral, who bet, and Spurlin raised to put Bral all in for 7,000, which Garcia and Bral called.

Action checked through on the turn J to the river J where Garcia check-called a bet from Spurlin.

Garcia mucked his hand after seeing the hands and Bral tripled while Spurlin took in the side.

Dennehy Runs Into Strebkov's Aces

Mike Dennehy raised in the hijack, Denis Strebkov reraised in the cutoff, and Dennehy called.

The flop came Q82 and Strebkov bet. Dennehy called to the 8 turn and Strebkov bet again. Dennehy called off his last chips.

Strebkov showed AA72, while Dennehy had AK65. The river was the 10 and Strebkov's aces earned him the pot to send Dennehy to the rail.

Zhu Frustrates Morrison on the River

Level 14 : Limits 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 949, Dennis Morrison bet from the button and Yueqi Zhu called in the cutoff.

Morrison bet again on the 10 turn and Zhu called. The river was the J and Zhu led out with a bet this time. Morrison quickly called.

Zhu showed AK87 for a rivered straight and Morrison angrily threw AA into the muck, shaking his head as Zhu raked in the pot.

Ford Shows Down Aces to Bust Woolard

Danny Woolard was all in from under the gun as Joe Ford and Christopher Vitch went to the turn on a board of 429Q. Vitch then bet from the big blind, Ford raised in the hijack, and Vitch called.

Both players checked down the 4 river and Ford showed AA102 for two pair. Woolard and Vitch both tossed their cards into the muck as Ford took the pot, sending Woolard to the rail.

Jacob Perry bet from the hijack on a flop of AK7 and Dylan Smith raised on the button. Perry called and the 8 fell on the turn.

Smith then bet and Perry called to the Q river. Smith bet again and Perry called once more.

Smith showed KKJ10 for a flopped straight that turned into a straight on the river. "Oh, wow. I tried to be sneaky and it saved me money," Perry said, flashing AA for top set before mucking.

Fishman Swimming Up the Counts

Level 13 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Park raised from late position which saw Wallace Hicks call in the cutoff and Ray Fishman call in the small blind. William Hay raised all in from the big blind for 8,000 total and Park raised again which both Hicks and Fishman called.

The flop rolled out KJ9 and Fishman bet with both Hicks and Park calling.

Fishman bet on the 4 turn which only Hicks called. The same action repeated on the river 6.

"Nut flush," Fishman said which elicited a quick muck from Hicks as the other two hands were tabled.

The nut flush was good for Fishman as he raked in the pot, hunting for his first bracelet.
