King High for the Win

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Right before the break, Frank Stepuchin raised to 2,400 from middle position and received a call from Kevin Pruett on the button, as well as Eric Smidinger in the big blind.

The board appeared with 657, and all of the participants quickly checked.

On the turn 3 and the river 6, all the players seemed eager to get out on their break and checked it through.

Pruett announced, "King high?" and it turned out to be the best hand. Pruett showed K10, Stepuchin showed KJ, and Smidinger mucked. Pruett's kicker played, winning him the pot.
