Epparla then check-called a bet of 100,000 from Stamm on a 8♠4♦8♦ board, then checked again on the 3♦ river. Here, Stamm bet again, this time for 500,000. After a short time, Epparla shoved, putting Stamm all in. Stamm was really "in a pickle," saying that he "should've checked back," and that it would be a "very tough call." Eventually, he made the laydown, as Epparla extended his chip lead.
