Event #41: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship
Day 3 Started
Event #41: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship had a modest but star-studded field of 118 players that generated a total prize pool of $1,097,400. Only nine players remain, but it seems something special has occurred in the chase for the $282,455 first-place prize and the gold.
Ryan Bambrick (1,465,000) won his second bracelet in the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship ($470.437) earlier this summer at the 2025 World Series of Poker at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas. He may be feeling some déjà vu, as the last time he was in this spot, Viktor Blom (1,875,000) also bagged the chip lead and Daniel Negreanu (420,000) was also in contention.
With a combined 19 bracelet wins at the final table, Blom, David Lieberman (475,000) and Max Hoffman (575,00) are the only players who have never hoisted poker's most prestigious prize. No doubt they'll be trying their hardest to win their maiden bracelet.

David Lieberman raised from early position, Ryan Bambrick three-bet from middle position and Lieberman called.
The dealer fanned a board of 3♥5♦10♣8♥ and Lieberman check-called twice. The 5♣ river completed the board, but was checked by both players.
Lieberman immediately turned over A♠K♠ for king high. Bambrick sent his cards into the muck and Lieberman shook his fist in the air while looking at his family in the rail to celebrate this first win.

Bohlman continued when the flop came K♣7♦3♣ and Hoffman responded with a raise. Bohlman raised the last of his chips, as he came into the day as the short stack. Hoffman called.
Scott Bohlman: A♦A♥
Max Hoffman: Q♣J♣
The turn brought even more outs for Hoffman when the 10♦ snapped off, giving him an open-ended straight draw to go with his flush draw.
The river was a dagger to Bohlman in the form of the 2♣ and he was out of his seat exiting the tournament area as the dealer scooped up the cards.

Daniel Negreanu raised in early position, Anthony Zinno called in position, and Ryan Bambrick defended his big blind.
The flop hit Q♠7♠2♠, Bambrick checked, Negreanu bet, Zinno raised, and Negreanu called when Bambrick folded between.
The turn peeled the Q♥ and Negreanu check-called a bet from Zinno.
The river completed the 2♣ and after Negreanu checked, Zinno said "I check just in case..." and tabled the K♦K♣ and an agitated Negreanu mucked his hand.

The dealer fanned a flop of 4♣9♦8♣. Lieberman didn't wait to raise and Negreanu quickly called.
Lieberman raised the 2♣ turn and Negreanu called for his last 15,000.
Daniel Negreanu: A♠10♦
David Lieberman: Q♠9♣
Negreanu hit a pair with the 10♣ river, but this last card completed Lieberman's flush so Negreanu was eliminated in 8th place for $31,316.

Hand 1:
Heads up to a flop of 4♦4♣2♣ saw Anthony Zinno check and Pedro Neves check behind.
The turn brought the K♠ and Zinno check-called a bet from Neves.
The river fell the 6♣ and Zinno check-called again. Neves tabled A♦4♥ for flopped trips and was awarded the pot.
Hand 2:
Pedro Neves raised in late position and Ian Johns put in a third bet. Neves called.
Neves check-called two streets on 2♣3♦10♦10♥ and when both players checked the 9♥ river he was awarded half the pot with his A♦Q♣ versus the A♣Q♥ of Johns.
Hand 3:
Max Hoffman raised preflop and Pedro Neves made the call in the big blind.
Heads up, they saw the Q♠10♥2♥ scroll across and Neves check-called a bet from Hoffman.
The turn brought the 9♠ and both players tapped the table.
The river completed the innocuous 5♦ and Neves bet, Hoffman called. Neves tabled the K♥J♠ to scoop for the turned nuts.
