Griffin's Stack Recovering

Level 3

Klinten Griffin: 9x8x2x / 4x3x6x3x
Daniel Mayoh: XxXx / 2x2x4x6x / Xx

There were already around 6,000 chips in the pot when Daniel Mayoh fired out on sixth and seventh street. Both times Klinten Griffin called.

Griffen then announced that he had an 8-6, and that wad good for the pot as Mayoh mucked.

Despite winning that pot, Griffen is still down from his starting stack and has around 20,000 after that pot.

Seiver Returns to Defend His Crown

Level 2
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Twelve months ago, Scott Seiver put on a masterclass in the $1,500 Razz, leading wire to wire on the final day to win his sixth WSOP bracelet and $141,374. The victory was his second of the summer, part of a hot streak that reignited talk of his place among the all-time greats. He navigated a stacked final table that included Brandon Shack-Harris, Maxx Coleman, and Ben Yu, and did so with the precision that only a few players in the world can match.

Now Seiver is back, looking to defend his title and prove once again why he's one of the most consistent players in mixed games. Whether it's Razz, 2-7, or any other format, Seiver continues to show up, sit down, and make deep runs look routine.

Easy Does It in the Double Level

Level 2

The first two levels of the Razz tournament are being played as a double level, meaning the betting stakes will remain the same throughout the first 80 minutes. Players are posting a 100 ante, with a 100 bring-in, and a 300 completion. The limit structure sits at 300/600, giving everyone a bit of breathing room in the early going.

With no pressure from escalating limits just yet, players have some extra time to settle in, feel out the table dynamics, and maybe even get a little creative. It’s a relaxed start. but that can change quickly once the structure kicks into gear.
