Joey Couden moved all in, and Abraham Barbarian called off the remainder of his stack, roughly 10,000,000. All other players vacated the pot.

Abraham Barbarian: AQ All in
Joey Couden: JJ

The flop 4K8 left Barbarian wanting, and the turn 2 didn't bring any help either.

The river 9 sealed his fate, and as Couden pulled in the pot, Barbarian headed to the payout desk.

Op-Ed: Is Martin Kabrhel's Act Good for Poker and the WSOP?

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

No player has commanded more attention at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) than Martin Kabrhel, partly for his strong performance, but mostly for his antics.

The clock has been called on the Czech high roller more often this summer than the Paris Hotel parking garage attendant, and he's been yapping away so much at the poker tables that even Daniel Negreanu had enough during a recent final table appearance.

Regardless of my or your take on Kabrhel's behavior, he has people talking about poker. He's bringing attention to the 2025 WSOP, and many seem to be enjoying the Kabrhel video clips shared on social media.

Tim Caziarc moved all in from middle position for 3,700,000, which he had spun up from just one small blind in a couple of orbits. Action then folded to Brandon Sowers, who moved all in for 11,200,000. Next to act, Alexander Savchenko, covering both players, moved all in, too.

That concluded the pre-flop action, and the three players turned their cards over.

Tim Caziarc: A3 All in
Brandon Sowers: 99 All in
Alexander Savchenko: JJ

The whole table stood up in anticipation as this was the final table bubble.

The flop was only just the start of the drama, coming 568, giving Caziarc the flopped flush.

The turn A did not affect the crucial sidepot between Sowers and Savchenko.

Before the river was dealt, Sowers called for the dealer to produce the 9, and that he did, giving Sowers a set.

Three very different sets of emotions were seen around the table.

Disbelief from Caziarc, who has come back from the brink. Savchenko turned and hit his chair in frustration, sending it flying to the floor. Elation for Sowers, who, mid-celebration, was cautioned by the tournament director for excessive celebration, which he immediately stopped.

Huang Doubles Through Choae

Level 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Yu Hsiang Huang moved all in from the small blind for 5,900,000 and Samuel Choae called in the big blind with the covering stack.

Yu Hsiang Huang: Q9 All in
Samuel Choae: A7

Huang pulled ahead on the Q86 flop, pairing his queen. The K turn and J river offered no help to Choae and the pot was pushed Huang's way.

Sebastian Medina moved all in from the button for his remaining 4,500,000 chips. Ofer Saha called from the big blind, putting Medina at risk.

Sebastian Medina: AJ All in
Ofer Saha: K2

A crucial all-in for Medina, with the final table just one elimination away.

The flop brought help for Saha, though, coming down 726.

The turn Q and river 8 offered no reprieve for Medina, and it was his turn to head to the payout desk.

Savchenko Applies the Pressure

Level 38 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Roger Hendren raised to 2,400,000 in middle position, Alexander Savchenko flatted on the button, and Samuel Choae defended in the big blind.

The flop came 210Q, Choae checked, Hendren bet 3,000,000, Savchenko called, and Choae got out of the way.

On the 2 turn, Hendren slowed down with a check and Savchenko fired out a bet of 5,600,000. Hendren thought for a moment before tossing his cards into the muck.
