Winner to be Crowned in the $250,000 Super High Roller With $4,752,551 Up for Grabs

Several high-stakes contests during the 2025 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas have already determined a champion. However, the most expensive buy-in is now waiting for the grand finale. Out of a field of 63 entries in Event #46: $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, only eight hopefuls remain and they will all aim to secure the biggest slice of the gargantuan $15,513,750 prize pool.

With some of the biggest names in the world of poker in contention, the final eight contenders have all locked up at least $581,411 for their efforts, but that certainly pales in comparison to the $4,752,551 top prize, as well as the highly sought-after WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the way by a significant margin is Belgian poker pro and coach Thomas Boivin with 28,025,000, which is nearly as many chips as his nearest followers Ben Tollerene (15,450,000) and Alex Foxen (14,525,000) have combined.

With more than $10 million in reported live tournament cashes to his name, Boivin will be full of confidence after finishing third in Event #38: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em just a few days ago for a seven-figure payday.

It certainly won't be an easy ride to victory despite the major chip advantage, as the Belgian has to overcome several top pros with plenty of experience at such a pivotal stage. Along with Boivin, the high-stakes crushers Tollerene and Seth Davies (10,500,000) are the only players without a gold bracelet on their resumes.

The leader on The Hendon Mob's all-time money list, Bryn Kenney, sits right in the middle of the pack, vying for his third bracelet, as do David Peters, and Chris Brewer. There is also the always talkative Martin Kabrhel, who can not only talk up a storm, but also bring a lot of action to the table as well. Kabrhel is the second-shortest stack with 3,675,000 and has the chance to claim his fourth bracelet today.

A Sight Nobody Wants to See

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Bryn Kenney has been the main focus of the Czech Joker so far at the final table, mostly because Kenney has yet to play any significant hands.

"Play some hands, Bryneus," Martin Kabrhel calls him. "I want to dance with you!"

Kabrhel then pleaded with the dealer to be dealt aces and said he would then dance on the table.

"How much of a penalty to dance on the table? If it's only one round penalty, maybe it is worth it for me," Kabrhel got a laugh from the table. "Maybe naked, you like that Bryneus?"

Alex Foxen and Seth Davies got a chuckle out of it but made sure to clarify. "I would like to see that. Not visually! But it would be funny," Foxen noted.

"Maybe you can each give me a time bank if I dance on the table," Kabrhel noted to the table.

The action has been slow with very few post-flop hands taking place as the short stacks continue to wait for their moment but the table chatter as been at a premium.

Chip Leaders Collide

Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Thomas Boivin raised to 800,000 in the hijack and Ben Tollerene defended from the big blind. The flop came K97 and Tollerene checked to Boivin who continued with a bet of 1,500,000. Tollerene check-raised to 3,000,000 and Boivin called.

The turn was the 3 and Tollerene used two time banks before tapping the table. Boivin also went into the tank, using three time banks, before sliding out a bet of 2,400,000. Tollerene instantly mucked his cards and Boivin collected another healthy pot.

Ben Tollerene opened to 900,000 on the button and Alex Foxen three-bet to 2,150,000 in the small blind. Tollerene four-bet jammed all in for 7,600,000 and Foxen snapped him off.

The flop came AJ8 and Foxen took a huge lead with a set of aces. The Q on the turn gave Tollerene some life but the 3 on the river quickly ended Tollerene's run in eighth place.

Martin Kabrhel declared an essential all-in for 2,725,000 with 25,000 behind and Chris Brewer in the next seat pondered about the decision for a short while with plenty of players behind, then declared "I call".

Alex Foxen let go of the KQ, and everyone else also got out of the way. On the A98 flop, the Czech entrepreneur checked and Brewer bet 500,000.

"How much? Why so much, you can just fold," Kabrhel joked back.

Chris Brewer: AJ

Both players had connected with the board and Kabrhel needed to improve to avoid elimination. No help came with the 4 turn and 5 river to send Kabrhel to the payout desk in seventh place for $674,359.

The action folded around to David Peters in the small blind who raised to 5,425,000, leaving just 25,000 chips behind. Alex Foxen raised all in from the big blind and Peters flicked in his last chip.

Alex Foxen: A6

The flop came AQ7 to give both players a pair, but Foxen was in a big lead with the pair of aces. The 4 on the turn left Peters drawing thin and the 8 sent Peters to the payout desk.

Chris Brewer Eliminated in 5th Place ($1,066,731)

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Chris Brewer opted to limp in from the small blind with the QJ and Alex Foxen raised it up to 1,600,000 - four times the big blind - holding the 99 in the big blind. The duo headed to the Q33 flop on which Brewer checked and Foxen continued for 900,000, picking up a call from Brewer.

That led them to the 5 on the turn and Brewer checked again, prompting a second barrel worth 1,800,000 by Foxen. After brief contemplation, Brewer called and the 9 rolled off on the river.

With 6,925,000 behind, Brewer checked and Foxen declared a bet of 10 million which covered the stack of his opponent. Brewer instantly sighed and then carefully counted his stack before he called all-in to see the cards turned over.

"Holy fuck, what the fuck? I mean, how does this happen every time?" Brewer exclaimed as he shot out of his chair, half laughing half in disbelief ... he tried to add more words after that, but grabbed his belongings instead and walked off the live stream table.

Brewer, a former winner of this particular event, bows out in fifth place and is the first player to earn a seven-figure payday worth $1,066,731.

Bryn Kenney

First to act, Bryn Kenney raised it up to 1,300,000 and Thomas Boivin on the button three-bet to 2,600,000 with the A5.

Seth Davies in the big blind then cold four-bet to 6,500,000 and Kenney checked his cards once more before getting his last 8,000,000 into the middle. Boivin folded and Davies called to find himself in great shape for scooping another decent pot.

Bryn Kenney: AQ All in
Seth Davies: KK

"Did you have an ace?" Kenney asked Boivin and then joked "I feel better now" before laughing.

The 94287 board delivered no help to Kenney, who had to settle for fourth place and a payday of $1,446,929.

Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

The action folded to Thomas Boivin in the small blind and he limped in. Alex Foxen in the big blind moved all-in with the covering stack and Boivin called for 10,725,000.

Thomas Boivin: KQ All in
Alex Foxen: A7

Foxen was in the lead and had to fade more outs after the 1095 flop when Boivin picked up a gutshot and back door diamonds. One of those options vanished with the 5 turn and the 6 river knocked out Boivin in third place for a payday of $2,057,430. That score vaults the Belgian into the top spot of his country's all-time money list on The Hendon Mob.

There is now a short break prior to the heads-up duel between Foxen and Seth Davies with the former holding a narrow lead.

One hand after the huge double, Seth Davies limped in from the button and Alex Foxen verbally declared a raise to 4,475,000 for almost all of his severe short stack. Davies then moved all-in and Foxen called it off. Foxen smirked once he saw the cards on the other side of the table.

Alex Foxen: K5 All in
Seth Davies: AA

The K62 flop gave Foxen some hope of a comeback and some chants for a five came from the rail. He indeed spiked the 5 on the turn but the 2 on the river propelled the aces into the lead to conclude the heads-up duel in exhilarating fashion.
