Davies Takes a Chunk Off Foxen

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

The action folded to Alex Foxen in the small blind and he raised to 1,400,000 with the 103, Seth Davies in the big blind defended the 85 to spike a flush draw with the A22 flop. Foxen continued for 800,000 before staring at his table neighbour while Davies only glanced at the board and tossed in calling chips.

On the 5 turn, Foxen bumped it up to 2,800,000 with his new-found gutshot and the far bigger stack size but Davies called after a very brief period of consideration. The board paired for the second time on the 5 river, giving Davies fives full of aces.

Foxen slowed down and checked, once again immediately staring at Davies who peeked at his cards once again. Davies then bet all but one chip and forced out Foxen.

Alex Foxen: A6

Martin Kabrhel Elimination

Martin Kabrhel declared an essential all-in for 2,725,000 with 25,000 behind and Chris Brewer in the next seat pondered about the decision for a short while with plenty of players behind, then declared "I call".

Alex Foxen let go of the KQ, and everyone else also got out of the way. On the A98 flop, the Czech entrepreneur checked and Brewer bet 500,000.

"How much? Why so much, you can just fold," Kabrhel joked back.

Chris Brewer: AJ

Both players had connected with the board and Kabrhel needed to improve to avoid elimination. No help came with the 4 turn and 5 river to send Kabrhel to the payout desk in seventh place for $674,359.

Live Stream Commences With Miracle Chop

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

The live stream action kicked off with Bryn Kenney opening to 900,000 with the AA and Martin Kabrhel three-bet for almost his entire short stack with the AK. Kenney then pushed all-in and Kabrhel asked for a count on the shove first before calling all-in.

Kabrhel was in very rough shape but the 85476 board provided a straight on the board for the split pot.

Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Thomas Boivin raised to 800,000 in the hijack and Ben Tollerene defended from the big blind. The flop came K97 and Tollerene checked to Boivin who continued with a bet of 1,500,000. Tollerene check-raised to 3,000,000 and Boivin called.

The turn was the 3 and Tollerene used two time banks before tapping the table. Boivin also went into the tank, using three time banks, before sliding out a bet of 2,400,000. Tollerene instantly mucked his cards and Boivin collected another healthy pot.
