Koon Flops a Set

Level 9 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Barak Wisbrod opened to 60,000 in early position and was called by Kristen Foxen in the cutoff and Jason Koon in the big blind. The flop came Q86 and the action checked to Foxen who bet 105,000. Koon just called and Wisbrod got out of the way.

The turn brought the 7 and Koon led out with a bet of 250,000 this time. Foxen called and the 5 completed the board. Koon checked this time and Foxen checked it back. Koon flipped over 66 for a set of sixes and Foxen conceded the pot.

Jaffe Makes the Right Call for Half

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened the button and Jonathan Jaffe defended his big blind.

On the 442 flop, Vogelsang continued for 55,000 before Jaffe raised to 150,000, and Vogelsang called.

Jaffe fired again on the 8 turn for 180,000 and Vogelsang stuck around.

Jaffe then elected to check on the 8 river. Vogelsang burned through two time banks before he fired for 600,000, leaving just 360,000 behind. After using a time bank of his own, Jaffe put in the call.

Christoph Vogelsang: AQ
Jonathan Jaffe: A10

Both players had two pair with an ace kicker and the pot was chopped.

Is This Player the Next Big Thing at the World Series of Poker?

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Bruno Furth
Bruno Furth

Caleb Furth, known to most as Bruno, had already proven his chops on the felt before the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). But he's taken his game to the next level this summer — or about three levels — and he might be just getting started.

The Las Vegas local won his first bracelet last year, a $265,361 score for taking down the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better event, beating out 1,277 entrants. That victory was just the start of much bigger things to come.

Ding Bluffs it Off to Haxton

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Biao Ding opened to 70,000 first to act and was called by Isaac Haxton in the big blind.

On the 952 flop, Ding continued for a small size before Haxton clicked it to 125,000. Ding used a time extension before he three-bet the flop to 210,000, and Haxton called.

The two went heads-up to the 8 turn as Haxton checked and Ding moved all-in for an even 400,000. Haxton confirmed that Ding was in fact all-in and quickly called.

Biao Ding: A9 All in
Isaac Haxton: Q4

Ding was drawing dead against the flopped flush of Haxton as the irrelevant J river rolled off.

Peters Shoves on Jaffe

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, the board read JJ56 with around 400,000 in the middle. David Peters led out with a bet of 330,000 in the big blind and Jonathan Jaffe called on his left.

The river brought the 10 and Peters announced all in as the bigger of the two stacks. Jaffe still asked for a count, despite being put to the test for his remaining 1,600,000. Jaffe used all of his time to consider his options but decided to send his cards into the muck.
