Boivin Doubles in Five-Bet Pot

Thomas Boivin opened to 400,000 on the button and Andrew Lichtenberger three-bet to 1,400,000 in the small blind. Boivin clicked it back to 3,200,000 and Lichtenberger used a time bank before five-bet jamming as Boivin snap-called with 8,450,000.

Boivin had his opponent outkicked and the flop landed K♦A♦5♦ to give him two pair while keeping Lichtenberger alive with a flush draw. The 3♣ turn gave him Wheel outs, but the 8♥ river bricked off to give Boivin a big double.

Orpen Kisacikoglu and Seth Davies limped in from middle position and Christoph Vogelsang shoved all in for 3,025,000 on the button. Alex Foxen also stuck in the last of his 2,375,000 chips from the small blind. Kisacikoglu folded but Davies confirmed the counts and then called.

A massive three-way all in broke after what started out as a limped pot. The flop came J♠4♣3♥ and Davies was still in front with the best pair. The 9♥ on the turn changed nothing but the A♠ hit the river and Foxen survived with a triple up. Davies had Vogelsang covered in the side pot to send the cloaked German to the rail.
