Hellmuth Steaming After Getting Aces Cracked

Level 28
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jason Daly opened on the button and Phil Hellmuth three-bet in the small blind. Alexander Orlov four-bet in the big blind and both opponents called.

Hellmuth bet on the flop of 72J and Orlov moved all in with less. Daly called. Hellmuth bet on the 9 turn and Daly called, and the same action took place on the Q river.

Daly announced kings but Hellmuth showed AA76 to win the side pot. But Orlov ended Hellmuth's party by showing AQJ4 to triple up with two pair, sending the Poker Brat on a signature mumbled tirade.

Christopher Claassen: XxXx/27A9/Xx
Jason Daly: 652/734J

Christopher Claassen brought in, Jason Daly completed, and Claassen called. Claassen called bets from Daly on fourth and fifth street before both players checked sixth street.

On seventh street, Claassen led out, Daly raised, and Claassen called after some thought. Daly tabled a seven-high straight and a six-low, and was awarded both parts of the pot when Claassen mucked his cards.

Omaha Hi-Lo

One hand later, Daly raised under the gun, and Tobias Hausen called in the big blind. Daly fired three barrels on the 8944A runout, with Hausen check-calling to showdown.

Daly showed AJ43 for a full house. Hausen mucked his cards, sending another big pot Daly's way.

The short-stacked William Flachsbart raised under the gun. Phil Hellmuth then three-bet in the hijack, being called by Alexander Orlov in the cutoff and Kevin Choi in the big blind.

Orlov Misses Value

Level 27

Omaha Hi-Lo

Alexander Orlov raised in middle position. It folded to Tobias Hausen in the big blind, who defended. Both players checked the 645 flop to the 10 turn, where Hausen led out with a bet.

Orlov called and did so too when Hausen bet the 2 river. However, when Hausen tabled his AQQ3, Orlov was surprised as he had not seen Hausen bet, intending to bet himself.

After the confusion was cleared up, Orlov showed AK53 for the same nut low as Hausen, but with a straight to go with it to take three-quarters of the pot.
