Elan Lepovic raised from early position to 8,000, and Richard Gebhart made the call from the big blind. The flop was 96A and Gebhart checked, while Lepovic bet out 9,000. Gebhart wanted to see the turn and called.

On the turn 4, Gebhart took the lead and bet out 25,000. Lepovic called.

Both players checked the river 10 and Lepovic tabled A4 for two pair, and Gebhart tabled A9 for the better two pair.

Larry Wagner opened for 10,000 and got called by Kevin McBride in late position. Adam Richardson in the big blind had other things in mind and shoved all in for 61,000. Wagner got out of the way, and McBride called for a showdown.

The flop came 6J10. McBride's outs increased with a gutshot straight draw, but with Richardson holding two queens, it made another queen coming out highly unlikely.

The runout 56 didn't help McBride at all. The pot was pushed to Richardson for a double up.

Veteran of the Felt: Vincent Burgio Holds Strong as Oldest Remaining Player

During the last break, the floorman was searching for the oldest remaining player in Event #48. That honor went to none other than Vince Burgio at 90 years young, a legend of the game with over $2 million in reported tournament earnings. Burgio won a WSOP gold bracelet in 1994 in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Split event. A member of the Seniors Poker Hall of Fame, he had the honor of announcing, "Shuffle up and Deal!" to commence play after the break.

Moments after the restart, a three-way all-in situation occurred involving Kennon Buckmaster in the hijack with 21,000, Cindy Fifield in the small blind with 33,000 and Richard Reichard in the big blind, who had them covered.

Buckmaster cheered after she hit a full house on 5KK2K to triple up. The whole table cheered with her, including Fifield who was eliminated on this hand.
