Cooper Stays Alive

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Cooper open-shoved all in for 30,000 in middle position and got called by his table-mate Kiran Majmudar, on his left, taking them to a showdown.

Christopher Cooper: A10 All in
Kiran Majmudar: KK

The flop dropped 7102 giving Cooper a pair which still could not beat Majmudar's kings, who kept the lead. The turn A flipped the script, however, as Cooper caught himself two pair.

The river J didn't help Majmudar, doubling Cooper up in the process.

Glazer Gets Value with Queens as Flagel Mucks

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

There were roughly 30,000 chips in the pot on the K34 flop.

Jay Glazer bet 6,000 from the button when the 3 hit the turn. Mark Flagel, who was in the cutoff, called.

Action went check, check on the 7 river, Glazer tabled QQ and this was good, as Flagel mucked his hand.

Frank Stepuchin raised to 6,000 from early position. There was only one call, by Melissa Forlani in the small blind, who just arrived at her seat during this level.

Both players checked a flop of 69A leading to the 8 turn that Forlani checked again. Stepuchin bet 4,000.

"You're ahead?" Forlani asked before folding.

"I'm absolutely ahead," Stepuchin answered, while flipping over 86 for two pair.

Rabbani Chips Up

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Under the gun Zu Zhou opened for 6,000 and got two callers in Paul Richardson, sitting directly to his left and Madjid Rabbani in the big blind.

The dealer unfurled 10Q6. Rabbani led out with 27,000 pushing Zhou out of the hand. Richardson decided to stay on to see the next street.

The turn 6 was peeled and Rabbani shoved for 29,500. Richardson didn't hesitate to call.

Madjid Rabbani: AQ All in
Paul Richardson: QK

Both players had hit the queen but Rabbani had Richardson out-kicked. The river 7 didn't improve Richardson's hand. The dealer pushed the pot towards Rabbani.
