Gill Relentless

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brad Gill opened to 5,500 on the button and got two callers in the blinds - Don Warner in the small blind and Ronald Weinberg in the big.

All three saw the flop of 2107. Both blinds passed the action to Gill, who continued with another 6,000. Warner, who had a significant stack in front of him, called, but Weinberg decided to leave the hand.

The turn 7 dropped and, relentless, Gill fired 8,000 into the pot after a check. Once again, Warner called.

Finally on the river 6, Warner initiated with 17,000. Keeping control of the pot, Gill went all in for 47,000.

Warner took a few seconds and said, "King-queen good," but Gill remained quiet. Warner folded, conceding the pot to Gill.

Flop Call Frustrates Shaverdians

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Charles Shaverdians raised to 7,000 and got called by Frederick Levy in the small blind and Frank Mikletic in the big.

They saw a flop 7103 and after a check from the blinds, Shaverdians bet another 7,000. Levy called but Mikletic got out of the way.

Action slowed down and the turn 8 was checked by both. When the river fell 5, Levy led out with a 10,500 bet which Shaverdians called. Levy tabled A8 for a turned pair, which somehow surprised Shaverdians, visibly frustrated that he got called on the flop.

Shaverdians mucked his hand with one card facing up, the 7, as the pot was pushed towards Levy.
