Fluss Scoops it With King-High

Action picked up on the flop of 1042 in a hand between Men Nguyen in early position and Marc Fluss in the small blind.

Both players checked to the 9 turn where Fluss led out for 100,000 and Nguyen called.

On the 2 river, Fluss checked and Nguyen thought for a moment before checking back.

"You have an ace you're good," said Fluss as he tabled KJ for king-high.

Nguyen turned over QJ for a busted open-ended straight draw and the pot was pushed to Fluss.

The board already showed 3A32 in a heads-up with more than 850,000 in the middle. Manish Madan sent a bet of 110,000 and it was quickly called by Timothy Tenpas next to him.

The 5 completed the board on the river and both layers checked. Madan turned over AA for a flopped full house and Tenpas sent his cards into the muck.

David Welch raised to 60,000 in early position and Bruce Lentz flatted on the button. Christian Hernandez then three-bet jammed in the small blind for 200,000 total, prompting Welch to call and Lentz to get out of the way.

Flopped Trips for Reels

Jean-Paul Pasqualini started the action with a raise to 60,000 in middle position and got called by Yucel Eminoglu on the button and Jason Reels in the big blind.

The flop fell 7JJ and it checked to Eminoglu who bet 85,000. Only Reels called to stay in the pot. On the 6 turn, Reels tanked and check-called Eminoglu's bet of 150,000.

The river was the 2 and both checked. Reels tabled KJ for flopped trips and Eminoglu mucked his cards.

Billy Papadopoulos opened to 65,000 from middle position. Josef Gulas called from the button, and so did both players in the blinds.

The flop was 3Q10, and everybody checked to Gulas who bet 175,000. The blinds folded, but Papadopoulos called.

Both players checked the J turn leading to the J river where Papadopoulos checked again. Gulas then bet 250,000 and made Papadopoulos fold.
