Kempton Takes it Down with River Bet

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A hand broke out between three players when Isaac Kempton raised to 9,000 from early position and was called by Scott Bohlman in the next seat over. Dan Shak came along with a call from the big blind to take three players to the flop.

Both Shak and Kempton checked the 238 flop, and Bohlman responded with a bet of 20,000. Shak folded, and Kempton called to trim the hand down to two people.

Both Kempton and Bohlman checked the 6 turn, which brought the 4 river.

Kempton led out 25,000 on the river. Bohlman thought about it, but decided on a fold to award Kempton the pot.
