Ayaz Mahmood limped in for 800 in early position. Nino Pansier then raised to 3,600 next to act. Brant Hale and Thomas Zanot called immediately to his left. Tom-Aksel Bedel called from the big blind, and Mahmood also called.

The board of 8♣7♥2♥ got checked around. Action got checked to Zanot on the K♣, and he bet 13,500. Mahmood and Hale called.

On the 5♦ river, Mahmood and Hale checked. Zanot bet again, this time, 32000. Both of his opponents folded, and he scooped the pot.

Jonas Kronwitter raised to 2,700 under the gun before Ka Kwan Lau three-bet to 10,000 from the next seat. Ilya Nikiforov just called from the hijack and Kronwitter also called.

Kronwitter checked the 4♥3♥10♦ flop and Lau jammed for 5,200. Nikiforov raised to 20,000, forcing Kronwitter to fold.

Ilya Nikiforov: A♠A♦7♣6♥

Lau was dominated by Nikiforov's two aces and needed some help to survive. The rest of the board ran out Q♥6♦, which didn't help Lau, and he was out of the tournament.

Catching the action on the river with the board showing A♣J♥Q♠J♣7♥. Bernd Gleissner checked from middle position and Tomer Daniel bet 12,000 from the hijack. Gleissner check-raised to 30,000 causing Daniel to go into the tank.

After thinking for quite some time, Daniel reluctantly called. Gleissner confidently turned over K♣Q♦J♠5♠ for a full house, jacks full of queens. However, Daniel had that beat with A♦J♦9♥3♣ for the better full house and took down the pot.

Lautaro Guerra began the hand with a limp from under the gun. This set off a chain of limps from Johnnathan Nader in the next seat over, Artur Martirosian in the hijack, Brian Batt in the small blind, which led to Ryan Coon checking his option in the big blind.

Batt, Coon, and Guerra checked the 9♦A♥8♣ flop before Nader opted to bet 5,000. Martirosian called, and Guerra called to trim the hand down to three players.

All three remaining players checked the 6♦ turn and the Q♠. Nader announced straight and showed J♠10♥10♣5♥ as the Guerra and Martirosian mucked their hands.

Ladines had flopped trips, but was behind to the flopped boat of Batt. The 7♥ turn and 9♦ river were clean for Batt, and he sent Ladines to the rail.

John Zable raised from middle position to 2,500. Jason Koon called from the hijack before Lawrence Chang popped it to 10,500. Zable and Koon both called to send the three to a flop.

Chang threw in his last 8,000 on the 3♦2♣6♥ flop, which led to calls from both Zable and Koon.

The 3♣ turn peeled off, and Zable chose to bet 22,000. Koon folded to send Chang and Zable to a showdown.
