Shak Hits The Rail

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Eric Wasserson kicked the action off with a limp from under the gun. Dan Shak followed suit, limping one seat to his left. Dylan Weisman put an end to the limping, raising to 33,000, and when action folded back to the limpers, they both called.

When the dealer revealed a flop of 8Q9, Wasserson and Shak maneuvered their stacks into the middle, and Weisman returned his cards to the dealer.

Eric Wasserson: A10107

The turn 5 kept Shak in the lead, but the river 6 gave Wasserson the checkmark, rivering a higher straight.

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Laszlo Bujtas started this hand with a limp under the gun. Erik Seidel was two his left, and raised to 27,000. Action folded to Bryn Kenney in the small blind, and he repotted Seidel's raise. Bujtas folded, and Seidel made the call.

Erik Seidel: A1096 All in
Bryn Kenney: KKJ9

The flop of A52 gave Seidel the lead, but K on the turn had him drawing dead. The inconsequential 10 fell on the river, and Kenney got all of Seidel's chips.

Tell Your Friends

Level 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

Picking up the action on the flop with the board reading A76, Scott Bohlman had a bet of 50,000 in front of him. Fabian Riebau-Schmithals check-raised to 225,000 and Bohlman jammed all in. Riebau-Schmithals called off his stack of 292,000 and the cards were tabled.

Scott Bohlman: KJ107

Both players had a flush draw but it was Riebau-Schmithals who made a straight on the 8 turn card. However, the 2 completed the board and Bohlman made the best flush to eliminate Riebau-Schmithals.

After a brief discussion, it was determined that three other players in the hand all had clubs as well, leaving just a single club left in the deck for Bohlman to hit on the river.

"It's my year," Bohlman piped up, who has already won a WSOP bracelet this summer. "Tell your friends."

Wang counted out the call but ultimately returned his cards to the dealer.

Schulman Fires Two Big Bets to Win on Turn

Level 11 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Todd Ivens raised to 18,000 from under the gun. Nick Schulman was the only one to give him action, making the call from the big blind.

The board came out J107 and Schulman took over the betting lead. He fired out for pot, which was 49,000. Ivens made the call.

On the J turn, Schulman again bet the pot, to which Ivens quickly responded with a fold.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu and Jacob Hamed clashed in a pot where each player threw in 37,000 each preflop to set the stage for the flop.

When the J94 flop came, Hamed announced a pot-sized bet, Negreanu responded by going all-in, and was called by Hamed.

Jacob Hamed: AKJ5

Negreanu held a wrap, but the 7 turn and the 2 did not improve his hand to send him to the rail.

Run Like Me!

Level 11 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Wasserson
Eric Wasserson

Iaroslav Boiko limped in from under the gun and Eric Wasserson raised the pot to 23,000 in the cutoff. Pedro Bromfman called on the button and Boiko limp-raised to 97,000. Wasserson and Bromfman just called as the dealer fanned the flop of J75.

Within seconds, all three players had their chips in the middle with Wasserson holding the shortest of just over 50,000. Bromfman was at risk for around the same and Boiko had them both covered.

Pedro Bromfman: KKQ6All in
Iaroslav Boiko: AA65

The 8 and J completed the runout to give Bromfman a king-high flush and scoop the pot, eliminating Wasserson in the process.

"Run like me!" Wasserson pointed to Bromfman's hand. "Calling the guy who has aces every hand. Run like me!"

Negreanu Folds to Pot-Sized River Bet

Level 11 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Jacob Hamed limped from the hijack, and Daniel Negreanu raised to 18,000 next to act. Hamed made the call.

The board came out a monotone J105 and Hamed checked. Negreanu bet 16,000, and Hamed stuck around to see the turn.

That turn went check-check when the 5 fell, and then on the river 6, Hamed bet the size of the pot. The total bet was 88,000.

Negreanu accused his opponent of getting to greedy, before folding.
