Kings Up for Maksimov

Maximilian Schindler raised from middle position to 80,000 and was called in the big blind by Artem Maksimov.

Maksimov fired 100,000 on the 7510 flop and was called by Schindler.

The K turn did not slow Maksimov down as he bet 300,000 and was called again by Schindler.

Both players checked the 9 river to go to a showdown.

Maksimov showed KQ87 for two pair. Schindler mucked his hand.

Smith Eliminates Becker

Johannes Becker raised in early position, and when the action got to Dylan Smith, he enquired about Becker's remaining stack before announcing "pot". Action folded to Smith, who called off the rest of his stack, and the players revealed their hands.

Becker was behind and looking to catch up, but the A2J flop didn't help his cause.

The 10 turn and 5 river were no help, and whilst Smith pulled in the pot, Becker headed toward the exit.

Daniel Negreanu hit the rail after he battled with Evan Krentzman. The hand began when Negreanu raised to 70,000 from the hijack. Krentzman decided to raise to 220,000 from the small blind. Negreanu called, leaving little behind as they both saw a flop.

Krentzman pushed Negreanu all in on the 829 flop, and Negreanu called to risk his tournament life.

Negreanu was looking for his straight outs, but the Q turn and the A river did not bring him any solace as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Lamb Gets Paid by Foxen

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised it up from the hijack and Ben Lamb defended from the big blind. The flop came 883 and Lamb led out with a bet of 40,000. Foxen raised to 150,000 and Lamb just called.

The turn was the 5 and both players checked to the 7 on the turn. Lamb fired out another bet of 400,000 and Foxen looked him up. Lamb rolled over K1087 for the nuts and Foxen paid him off.

Brannan's Pot-Sized River Bet Gets Through

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Lautaro Guerra raised to 75,000 in middle position. David Eldridge called next to act, and Frank Brannan called on the button.

The board came out 997. Action checked to Brannan, who bet 80,000. Only Guerra made the call.

The 10 fell on the turn, and now Brannan bet 175,000 when the action was on him. Guerra once again called.

The 4 came on the river, and Guerra checked a third time. Brannan now announced "pot," and the dealer counted out that the bet 795,000. This time, Guerra folded.
