Isaac Haxton raised to 55,000 under the gun, and next to act, Jesse Lonis called. The rest of the table folded, and the two went to a flop.
Haxton continued for 40,000 on the 9♠Q♠Q♣ flop, and Lonis called.
The turn brought the 9♦, and Haxton upped the ante, betting 180,000. Lonis stuck around, though, to see one more card.
The river A♥ didn't slow Haxton down, this time betting 600,000. This was enough to put Lonis all in and at risk of bubbling, should he call.
Lonis mucked his cards, advising that he had missed a straight draw and a flush draw.

Ethan "Rampage" Yau says he's "ready to quit" three weeks into the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) after numerous early eliminations and zero WSOP final tables.
But don't expect the poker vlogger to actually quit the bracelet chase. Rampage has racked up quite a few cashes this summer, but all for small amounts, and he's fired more bullets than Scott Seiver in a Flip & Go.
Toby Lewis and Tomasz Gluszko got the chips in preflop to put Lewis at risk.
Toby Lewis: A♦K♣J♦9♠
Tomasz Gluszko: 9♦9♣8♠4♣
Gluszko slammed the flop of Q♦8♥8♦ to hit trip eights. The Q♥ turn and the K♥ river did not give Lewis the outs he needed to survive as he busted on the soft bubble.

At the 2025 World Series of Poker, this year's schedule includes 100 bracelet events. One notable event returning this summer at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas is bracelet Event #78: PokerNews Deepstack Championship (PNDC).
This also means last year's popular PokerNews Daily Deepstack Challenge is coming back, bigger and better than before!
From May 27 to June 30, players grinding the $200, $250, and $400 Daily Deepstacks tournaments at the WSOP will rack up leaderboard points. Every week, the top 10 players will be awarded a complimentary entry into the PNDC on July 1. That’s 50 seats up for grabs—10 more than last year, thanks to the additional week of action. Best of all? You can win multiple seats, meaning the more you play and perform, the better your shot at a deep WSOP run.
The tournament director has paused the clock as the players are now on the bubble.
76 players remain, but only 74 will make the payouts.
Frank Brannan was one of a few players who asked the floor to go to hand-for-hand before the direct money bubble, which the floor decided not to do at that time. Brannan is one of the big stacks in the room, who continues to turn up the aggression.
In this hand, he raised to 65,000 from the button. Aaron Kupin called from the big blind.
On the A♣K♥7♣ flop, Kupin checked and Brannan bet 125,000. Kupin quickly folded.
"I had almost as bad as possible," Brannan said as he showed 6♦5♦4♠3♣.

Daniel Geeng opened the hijack to 50,000 before seeing a three-bet from Shaun Deeb in the small blind. Deeb had raised to 170,000, which was a large portion of his remaining stack.
Geeng called, and the pair saw a J♦2♦9♠ flop. Deeb then used all his remaining time banks in order and try and squeeze in the money, should he lose the hand. After a few minutes, Deeb moved all but one of his chips into the middle, leaving a 5,000 chip behind. Geeng raised to commit Deeb, who waited his allotted 30 seconds before calling.
Shaun Deeb: A♥Q♠10♦9♥
Daniel Geeng: A♣J♠7♦2♣
Geeng had flopped two pair and currently had the lead.
The turn 6♣ was no help to Deeb, and the river 10♣ confirmed that he would not be making the money of this tournament, and he headed to the exit.

Jacob Hamed began the hand with a raise to 70,000 from the hijack and was called by Bryn Kenney in the big blind.
Kenney checked the 3♥K♥K♣ flop before Hamed bet 50,000. Kenney called.
The 7♥ turn and the 7♦ river were checked by both players.
Kenney showed Q♣Q♦9♠6♦ to win the pot as Hamed mucked his hand in response.

Josh Arieh already had his backpack on when he raised to 70,000 from under the gun. Roman Hrabec reraised on the button and Arieh splashed in the last of his 20,000 chips.
Josh Arieh: A♣J♣10♠4♣
Roman Hrabec: A♥Q♦10♦6♥
The board ran out Q♠9♥3♠J♠6♦ and Hrabec made two pair to eliminate Arieh near the money.
"Yo, Josh! The tournament is over this way!" Ben Lamb shouted as Arieh was leaving the tournament area.
"I've got walking chips!" Arieh spouted back.
