Santiago Nadal Sordo raised under the gun and it folded to Hardey Karem who called in the small blind before Adam Wilkinson shoved in the big blind for around 135,000. Sordo tanked and reshoved for slightly more and Karem let it go:
Adam Wilkinson: A♦Q♥
Santiago Nadal Sordo: J♠J♥
The board came 2♠10♦9♣5♣Q♠ and Wilkinson found a queen on the river to double up.
Michael Acevedo pushed all in and got a call from Robert James.
Michael Acevedo: 10♥10♦
Robert James: A♠K♣
The flop was promising for Acevedo, but on the full runout 4♦9♦2♣A♥A♣ brought aces on the turn and river, to knock him out of the tournament.
Russell Morse was desperate to avoid being one of the slew of eliminations moments after the bubble burst, but with so few ships left, he had to make a move. Ronald Jackson took a while before making the call.
Russell Morse: 5♠6♠
Ronald Jackson: 10♦6♦
The runout of 2♣Q♣K♣3♥2♠ did not resuscitate Morse's hand, as the turn brought him an inside straight draw that didn't get home.
Felipe Manzure open-jammed for 35,000 in late position and was joined by the big blind Fabrice Cecchini for a heads-up showdown.
Felipe Manzure: J♥J♠
Fabrice Cecchini: A♦J♦
The window card made Manzure stand from his seat when the dealer fanned out A♠K♦2♥. The 10♠ made him pause a bit as the turn gave both him Cecchini more outs for a gutshot straight draw and a possible chop. The 4♣ dropped and ended any hope for Manzure to continue his run.
Cecchini scooped the pot as Manzure left the floor.
Luigi Martins Soncin opened for 10,000 in late position and got a caller in Fei Li in hijack. Cutoff player Cole Jackson asked how much Soncin had behind, then went all-in. Soncin folded, but Li made the call.
Cole Jackson: A♣K♠
Fei Li: Q♣Q♦
Li's queens held on the flop 10♦7♥4♣. Jackson needed one of his over cards to hit the board, but that didn't happen on the runout 7♠10♠, eliminating him from the tournament.
Action was picked up with Rayane Mokhtar all in and at risk preflop for roughly 80,000 from the small blind and was up against David Uvaydov in the cutoff.
Rayane Mokhtar: Q♣Q♦
David Uvaydov: A♥K♠
The dealer ran out a board of 2♠J♣9♦2♥10♠, securing a much-needed double up for Mokhtar.
