Play was underway with a main pot of around 60,000 and a side pot of around 30,000. Kurt Fitzgerald, all-in on the main pot was waiting with Jeremy Wien and Marius Gierse for the dealer to fan out the flop.
The flop came Q♥9♣A♠. Wien bet 45,000 which was enough push Gierse out of the side. Wien scooped the side pot and headed to showdown against Fitzgerald.
Kurt Fitzgerald: J♠J♦
Jeremy Wien: 10♦9♦
Wien had bottom pair but couldn't beat Fitzgerald's jacks. The runout 7♥3♥ didn't improve Wien's hand. The dealer awarded the main pot to Fitzgerald, resulting in a triple up for him.
Carlos Pou was all in and at risk preflop for his last 52,000 and was holding A♦K♥. He was facing 9♥9♦ in Gary Thompson's hands who had slightly more chips for a typical flip situation.
The board brought the winning hand to Pou with K♠Q♠6♦3♣8♣ and Thompson was left with a very short stack.
Jonah Labranche was all-in and at risk from the small blind and up against Ryan Laplante, who sat under the gun.
Jonah Labranche: A♥A♠
Ryan Laplante: 10♠10♣
Both had pocket pairs, but Laplante didn't improve on the 8♣7♦J♠2♣2♠ runout, and Labranche secured the double with aces.
A few tables across, Bruno Mota had just doubled up in the big blind against James Jeffrey on the button after Mota was all-in for his remaining 50,000 with pocket threes.
Bruno Mota: 3♦3♥
James Jeffrey: K♦Q♣
The 10♦10♠2♥ flop gave Mota two pair and not much of a sweat. The 10♣ turn gave Mota a boat, and the 5♠ river secured him the double.
The board A♥A♦2♣3♣10♦ was already dealt, with Maria Lampropulos being all in and holding JxJx against Adam Owen who was also at risk with A♠K♠. The third player involved, Collin Ball, had Q♣Q♦ and was covering both.
Owen had the best hand with trips aces and took down the pot while Lampropulos made her way to the payout desk.
Players were already all in three-ways preflop. Steven Nichols was at risk from the small blind as was covered by both Bahar Musa from under the gun and Steven Nichols, the largest stack in play on the button.
Fabio Fidanza: 8♣9♣
Bahar Musa: A♦A♠
Steven Nichols: A♥A♣
Fidanza found a pair of nines on the 4♦9♦4♣ flop, but it wasn't good enough to crack both Aces, and he bricked on the 2♥, 3♣ runout. Fidanza made it through the bubble and took home a minimum cash.
Nichols chopped the pot with Musa and said "Nice hand sir".
Jay Harwood open-shoved in middle position and got called by small blind player Robert James taking them to showdown.
Jay Harwood: A♥10♦
Robert James: A♠K♣
James had Harwood dominated and with no one hitting the board of 7♣4♦J♠3♦Q♦, James took the pot down sending Harwood to the payout counter.
