Tiemann Wins the Set Up; Goutard Misses the Jump

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Johann Tiemann raised to 125,000 on the button and Antoine Goutard put in a raise to 425,000 from the blind. Tiemann went all in, covering Goutard, and the decision was on the latter.

With only 140,000 behind, it became evident that Goutard was sweating the $1,100 pay jump. Tiemann made mention that he didn't mind, but eventually grew restless.

"I'm here to have a good time, I don't play professionally," said Tiemann, who let another minute pass before calling the clock.

When the floor saw the amount of chips Goutard had behind, they only gave him a 5-second clock, Goutard put in the call and it proved to be a set up.

Antoine Goutard: KK All in
Johann Tiemann: AA

The board ran out 54J7J and Tiemann's stack swelled to over a million.

Goutard soft-bubbled the pay jump.

Parys Tops a Million

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After deciding not to call a raise with his last 20,000 chips, even after donating 50,000 to the pot with the big blind and ante, Daniel Jackson took his chance in the small blind. Maxime Parys and Antonio Vargas wrestled over a sizable side pot.

Vargas took the lead, raising preflop and betting 80,000 on the flop K310 and 185,000 on the turn J. Parys wouldn't fold. The pair checked when J fell on the river.

Daniel Jackson: 99All in
Maxime Parys: Q10
Antonio Vargas: [x][x]

Jackson's pair of red nines wasn't good enough to top the ten in Parys' hand. Vargas folded without showing.
