Finger's Aggression Can't Hold
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Action folded to Vadim Shlez in the hijack, who announced "pot". Martin Finger then repotted on the button, and Shlez made the call. On the 7♥2♠9♦ flop, Shlez checked and Finger potted, putting himself all in for 165,000. After around three minutes, Shlez flicked in the chips.
Martin Finger: A♣A♦6♦4♣
Vadim Shlez: Q♣J♣J♦7♦
Finger did all he could, as he potted at every opportunity and got it in good. However, he couldn't beat lady luck, as the Q♥3♥ runout gave Shlez two pair, and he was eliminated.
