As action folded to Rick Aasen in middle position, he announced "pot" and raised to 28,000. Isaac Kempton put in the call from the cutoff before Olivier Brodeur clicked it to 48,000 on the button. Aasen then shoved his remaining 77,000, causing Kempton to fold. Brodeur made the call.

Tolga Demirel was all in preflop for his remaining 22,000, and was called by both Daniel Clemente and Maxwell Lytell.

On a flop of 6♠Q♣6♦ Lytell checked, Clemente bet 35,000, and Lytell called. The turn 8♣ checked through, and Lytell bet 50,000 on the 4♦ river. Clemente called, and the players revealed their cards early, despite floor instruction not to.

Eventually, when showdown was called. Demirel's A♠A♦10♠10♦ wasn't enough to keep him alive, as Lytell scooped with A♣8♠6♣3♣. Two other players, Niema Mostafavi and Yuan Li, were eliminated in the same hand, meaning they received a $2,015 payout each.
