Michael Heritsch limped in from middle position and Olivier Brodeur made it 60,000 to go from the cutoff. When it got back to Heritsch, he called.
The flop came 7♦5♦2♥ and after Heritsch checked, Brodeur bet 80,000. Heritsch called to see the 9♠ turn, where both players quickly checked.
When the 8♣ dropped on the river, Heritsch shoved for 158,000.
"Did you go runner-runner straight, backdoored two pair, or did you miss a flush draw - which one is it?" asked Brodeur.
"It's one of the three," replied Heritsch.
After around 30 seconds of contemplating, Brodeur made the call.
Heritsch then showed A♣Q♦10♦10♠ for a busted flush draw and blockers to the nut straight, and Brodeur showed A♦K♥K♣6♥ for a pair of kings to scoop the pot.
"My gut told me you missed a flush draw," said Brodeur.
"Is that because you have the ace of diamonds?" Heritsch snapped back.
