Vohra Hits the Rail; Kempton Chips Up

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Isaac Kempton
Isaac Kempton

In a pre-flop raising war, all the money ended up in the middle between Rajesh Vohra and Scott Franklin,

Scott Franklin: KKJ8All in
Rajesh Vohra: AAQ2

With a king coming as the door card on the K9Q flop, things didn't look too clever for Vohra, and when the 3 came on the turn, he was drawing pretty thinly. The 9 on the river sealed the deal, and Franklin was shipped the pot, leaving Vohra just a big blind remaining.

Two hands later, he was forced all in on the big blind, and action was folded around to Franklin, who limped from the cutoff. Isaac Kempton raised from the button to 72,000, and Franklin folded.

Rajesh Vohra: A652All in
Isaac Kempton: AAJ7

No help on the K91036 run out for Vohra, and he was sent to the rail.

Punsri and Pantaleo River Two Pair

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Punnat Punsri limped under the gun and Giuseppe Pantaleo made it 72,000 to go from middle position. When the action got back to Punsri, he called.

It was checked to the river on a board of J65210, where Punsri fired out 150,000. Pantaleo quickly called.

Punsri then flipped KJ108 for top two, and Pantaleo revealed AKJ10 for the same two pair.

"You got lucky," said Pantaleo to Punsri. "That was a nice river," he added.

On a flop of 485 Reed made the same move when checked to, as he potted all in for 285,000. Both his opponents folded, and he made a huge pickup of chips.

Franklin Frozen Out

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Scott Franklin had 86,000 left behind, and was looking to hold as he and Jorge Paredes Andia went to a runout for it all.

Scott Franklin: AQQJ All in
Jorge Paredes Andia: QJ98

It was an up-and-down runout for both players, as Franklin stayed in the lead on the 1077 flop, but his opponent picked up outs with a wrap. One of those outs came in on the 8 turn, and Franklin was now at risk, looking for a queen, nine, seven or club to stay alive. The K river sealed his fate, as Paredes Andia picked up his chips.

Brodeur Figures Out Heritsch

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Olivier Brodeur
Olivier Brodeur

Michael Heritsch limped in from middle position and Olivier Brodeur made it 60,000 to go from the cutoff. When it got back to Heritsch, he called.

The flop came 752 and after Heritsch checked, Brodeur bet 80,000. Heritsch called to see the 9 turn, where both players quickly checked.

When the 8 dropped on the river, Heritsch shoved for 158,000.

"Did you go runner-runner straight, backdoored two pair, or did you miss a flush draw - which one is it?" asked Brodeur.

"It's one of the three," replied Heritsch.

After around 30 seconds of contemplating, Brodeur made the call.

Heritsch then showed AQ1010 for a busted flush draw and blockers to the nut straight, and Brodeur showed AKK6 for a pair of kings to scoop the pot.

"My gut told me you missed a flush draw," said Brodeur.

"Is that because you have the ace of diamonds?" Heritsch snapped back.
