Strebkov Claims Capped Preflop Pot on the Turn

Level 1 : 300/500, 500 ante

Limit Hold'em

Yueqi Zhu raised from under the gun, and Donny Rubinstein three-bet from middle position. Denis Strebkov then four-bet from the cutoff before Brian Breck capped it from the big blind. The other three players called, and it was four-way action to a flop of A88.

Three checks saw Strebkov bet 500, both Breck and Zhu called, and Rubinstein got out of the way making it three-way action to the turn, which fell the 3.

Two more checks saw Strebkov bet again, and this time it was enough as both Breck and Zhu folded.

Level 1 : 300/500, 500 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Denis Strebkov: 78/24J3/9
Donny Rubinstein: XxXx/7K2Q/Xx
Sachin Bhargava: J8/J2109/8

With four players seeing sixth street and around 5,000 in the middle, the action checked around to Denis Strebkov, who bet showing three low cards and a jack. Donny Rubinstein, Sachin Bhargava and Yueqi Zhu all called.

On seventh street Strebkov bet again and received calls from Rubinstein and Bhargava while Zhu folded.

Strebkov showed an eight-seven low. Rubinstein announced that he had a pair of aces for the high, but Bhargava turned over two pair, jacks and eights, to take the high half.
