Dylan Smith: XxXx / 8x10x7x4x
Walter Chambers: XxXx / 6x9x8xQx - folded on sixth street
Action was heads-up to fifth street, where Walter Chambers led out with a bet and Dylan Smith made the call. Smith then took the betting lead on sixth after seeing Chambers hit a queen.
Chambers took a moment before letting his hand go, and Smith raked in the pot.
"Whenever I'm sitting at this exact angle, I always look over there and ask myself, what would Chris Moneymaker do?" Scott Seiver said as he looked over at Moneymaker's Main Event banner hanging in the Horseshoe Event Center.
"Even in mixed games?" a tablemate added.
"In everything," Seiver replied.
Meanwhile, Brad Ruben bet from early position on a flop of J♦5♣3♣ and Maximilian Schindler raised in the big blind. Ruben called and they both checked the K♥ turn.
Schindler then bet on the 3♦ river and Ruben called. Ruben showed A♦Q♥J♥5♦ for two pair, and Schindler mucked.

Maximilian Schindler: XxXx/Qx10x5xQx/Xx
Dylan Smith: XxXx/8x8x10x9x/Xx
Shortly afterward, Schindler got involved in a Razz pot against Dylan Smith. Schindler bet on fifth street and Smith called before opening the betting on sixth. "How did I get myself into this?" Schindler asked himself as he called.
Smith checked on seventh and Schindler bet. Smith called. "You win," Schindler said, and Smith showed 5x3x3x for 10-9-8-5-3 to win the pot.
Cary Katz: 3x2x / 6xJx8x3x / 7x
John Hennigan: 6♣5♣ / 2x9x9xAx / 7x
Jason Mercier: XxXx / AxKx10xJx - folded on sixth street
On the first hand of Razz, Jason Mercier raised and Cary Katz replied with a three-bet. John Hennigan called and Mercier raised again with a four-bet.
Katz moved the rest of his stack into the middle, with Hennigan and Mercier both calling.
Hennigan bet into the side pot on fourth street, and Mercier called. The action repeated on fifth street, with Mercier folding to a bet from Hennigan on sixth.
The cards were turned up, and Hennigan made a seven-six. Katz was unable to improve on his last card, sending him to the payout desk in 15th place.
Cary Katz raised in early position, with action folding around to Matt Grapenthien in the big blind. Grapenthien called to see the 9♥A♠8♦ flop, leading out with a bet.
Katz called and the 4♦ turn hit the felt. Grapenthien fired again, with Katz tossing in the call. The 5♦ river produced another bet from Grapenthien, sliding in his last 15,000.
Katz called, and Grapenthien showed down A♦J♦2♠2♥ for the nut flush and a low. Katz frustratingly mucked his cards, as Grapenthien raked in the double-up.
Todd Brunson raised under the gun and was called by Alex Livingston in middle position and big blind Kristopher Tong.
Action checked to Livingston on the 9♦9♠6♦ flop and he bet. Tong then raised, Brunson folded, and Livingston called.
The turn was the 2♠ and Tong bet. Livingston called to see the 7♥ river, where Tong bet again. Livingston folded this time and Tong showed him 9♣7♠ as he took the pot.
Kristopher Tong raised in middle position and made the call after Jason Mercier three-bet from the small blind.
Both players checked the 8♣K♣8♦ flop, with action repeating through the 6♣ turn.
Mercier led out with a bet on the 2♣ river, and was called by Tong. Mercier showed A♥Q♠Q♣3♠ for the nut low and two pair, taking down the whole pot as Tong mucked.
Brad Ruben raised from the cutoff, and Walter Chambers defended his big blind to the J♦Q♠J♣ flop.
Chambers checked to Ruben, who fired another bet. The call was made, and the J♥ hit the turn. Chambers check-called again, with the 5♦ river completing the board.
Ruben slid out one last bet, good enough to take down the pot as Chambers folded.
