Badugi
John Evans raised in the hijack and Aaron Kupin called on the button. In the big blind Clinton Cartwright raised and both Evans and Kupin called.
Cartwright stood pat on the first draw while Evans and Kupin drew one and Cartwright bet to receive two quick calls.
On the second draw, Cartwright stood pat again and both of his opponents drew one. This time when Cartwright bet, only Kupin came along.
"I'll go for thin value," Cartwright said after he stood pat, Kupin drew one, and he put out a bet. Kupin looked at his final card and went into the tank before electing to call.
"Ten," said Cartwright as he turned over 10♦5♥3♠A♣ for a ten badugi which was good against Kupin's Q♥4♠2♣A♥.
