Akhavi Shows a Better Seven

Level 19 : Limits 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Sean Akhavi raised first to act and was called by Johannes Becker in the big blind.

Both players drew two on the first draw and then Becker check-called a bet from Akhavi.

On the second draw, each player took one off and Becker again check-called a bet.

Becker drew one on the final draw and Akhavi stood pat.

Becker then led out for a bet and Akhavi quickly called.

Becker fanned out 7x6x5x3x2x for seventy-six, but it was no good against Akhavi's 7x5x4x3xAx for a seventy-five to sent Akhavi the pot.

"I missed a raise!" Akhavi said, which got a smirk from Becker.
