Jordan Spurlin opened the action from the hijack, betting 50,000 and leaving just one 5,000 chip behind. Phil Ivey then three-bet from the small blind to 90,000. Najeem Ajez called in the big blind, and Spurlin put in his last remaining chip.

Ivey continued for 110,000 on the 9♥7♠8♥ flop and Ajez folded.

Spurlin needed some help as Ivey had flopped the nut-straight.

The turn J♦ offered no assistance, and the river A♥ confirmed his fate.

Both players checked on the 6♣ turn. Then Lonis led out on the 7♠ river for 65,000. Foxen called. Lonis tabled the A♣K♥9♥2♥ for two pair, and Foxen showed A♦K♠10♥2♠ for the same two pair, so the top two players according to the Global Poker Index chopped the pot.
