Anthony Ribeiro raised from the cutoff, Fu Wong three-bet from the small blind, Ribeiro made it four bets, Wong capped it, and Ribeiro called all in for 820,000 total.
Anthony Ribeiro: 7♦7♣
Fu Wong: A♦5♥
Ribeiro was primed for the double but had to fade an ace which he could not do on the A♥10♦9♥ flop. His boisterous railed chanted for a set but he could not find any help on the 9♦5♦ runout as he had to settle for fourth after an impressive run.
Action folded to Thomas Taylor in the small blind, who put in the raise forcing Anthony Ribeiro all in. Ribeiro quickly called in the big blind, and the hands were turned up.
Anthony Ribeiro: J♦8♥4♣2♣
Thomas Taylor: 10♠9♣6♣2♠
The K♥Q♠3♥ flop and Q♥ turn missed both players, while Ribeiro found the only pair on the 8♣ river to earn the double-up.
Robert Wells: XxXx / 3♥K♥6♦Q♣ / Xx
Thomas Taylor: Q♦8♥8♣ / 6♥4♦Q♥3♠
Taylor completed and Wells defended his bring-in. Fourth street checked through.
Wells led on fifth and sixth as Taylor stuck around. Wells opted to check on seventh before Taylor bet, sending Wells into the tank. After over a minute he tossed in the call and got the bad news as Taylor showed his two pair, queens and eights, which were good to drag another pot.
Nicolas Barthe: A♣4♣ / 2♠J♣9♠7♣ / Xx
Thomas Taylor: 5♠2♣ / 5♦8♣9♦6♣ / 3♣
Fu Wong completed, Taylor raised, Barthe called all-in for 270,000, and Wong folded.
Taylor started and ended with a pair of fives. Barthe had overcards and picked up a flush draw on sixth, but he got the Q♠ on seventh and was left with just ace-high on his way to the rail.
Fu Wong opened to 225,000 from under the gun and was immediately three-bet by Thomas Taylor on his left, who made it 700,000. Action folded back around to Wong, who went into the tank.
After taking a few minutes and counting his remaining stack, Wong opted to send his cards into the muck, as Taylor extended his lead.
Robert Wells opened the cutoff to 160,000 before Nicolas Barthe jammed for 200,000 from the big blind and Wells announced call.
Nicolas Barthe: A♦3♦
Robert Wells: A♥7♣
Wells was ahead with the better ace with a chop very possible. However, Barthe found many outs on the 8♦6♦4♣ flop. No waiting was required on the Q♦ turn to the irrelevant 4♥ on the river as Barthe found some life.
