Thomas Taylor raised on the button, with Robert Wells making the call in the big blind. Both players drew three cards, and Wells led out with a bet.

Taylor counted out a raise, with Wells coming along to the second draw. Both players asked for one, and Wells slid out another bet. Taylor called and took one after Wells stood pat.

Action was checked down by both players, as Wells showed 8x7x5x4x2x to claim the pot as Taylor slid his cards into the muck.

Robert Wells saw his bring-in completed by Thomas Taylor, and opted to raise. Thomas called to fourth street, and bet after Wells checked.

Wells called and took the betting lead after making an open pair of threes. Taylor called, sticking in another call after Wells fired again on sixth street.

Wells slid out one last bet on seventh, and Taylor made the call. Wells showed down his trip threes, taking down another sizeable pot as Taylor could only muck.

Taylor completed, Wells raised, and Taylor called. Taylor then led on fourth and Wells called.

On fifth, Taylor check-called a bet before he led again on sixth with the ace up, and Wells called.

Seventh street checked through as Taylor announced a lone pair of aces while Wells had two pair, eights and fours, for the winner.

Thomas Taylor limped the button and Robert Wells checked his option in the big blind.

On the J♠6♥5♣ flop, Wells check-called a bet of 150,000 from Taylor.

Taylor fired again for 500,000 on the 9♦ turn and Wells stuck around.

The 3♥ peeled off on the river. Wells checked for a third time to Taylor who bet 750,000. Wells went deep into the tank for almost two minutes before he stuck in the call. Taylor announced jacks and sixes but they were no good against the Q♠J♦9♣5♦ of Wells who had a better two pair to take the lead again.
