Kyte Draws Two into Number Four

Level 10

2-7 Triple Draw

Jon Kyte raised from the hijack, Donald McNamara three-bet from the small blind, and McNamara called.

Both players drew two as Kyte joked, "You raise me and then draw two?" and McNamara checked to Kyte who bet. McNamara called as he flashed QQ as his unfortunate discards.

McNamara still needed two and Kyte was pat. McNamara check-called for his final 200 chips. McNamara was drawing one on the end.

Donald McNamara: 8x6x5x3x All in
Jon Kyte: 7x6x5x4x2x

McNamara was drawing dead with his eight draw against the number four of Kyte. McNamara received an irrelevant 9x as he wished his opponents farewell on his way to the exit.

Zaichenko Sends Moriarty Home

Level 9

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrey Zaichenko raised under the gun and Ryan Moriarty three-bet from the button, which Zaichenko called.

Zaichenko took two and check-called a bet after Moriarty drew one.

Zaichenko still need two and Moriarty still drew one as Zaichenko check-called.

Both drew one on the end and Zaichenko led. Moriarty had a little under one bet left behind but was faced with a difficult decision with his hand. He eventually decided that the odds were too good and flicked in the call for his tournament life.

Ryan Moriarty: 7x6x6x5x2x All in
Andrey Zaichenko: 10x5x4x3x2x

Moriarty was drawing to a wheel and Zaichenko was drawing open-ended to the five. However, Zaichenko made a ten on the end and Moriarty paired his six as he made the wrong call to be eliminated.

Jansen Takes Out Clements

Level 8

Pot-Limit Omaha

Bradley Jansen opened the hijack to 1,400 and Antonio Seremet called in the cutoff. In the small blind, Sebastian Schulz potted to 6,200 and Scott Clements cold-called in the big blind, which brought along both Jansen and Seremet.

On the 982 flop, Schultz checked to Clements who potted for 25,400. Jansen called in the hijack while both Seremet and Schultz quickly got out of the way.

The turn brought the K. Clements elected to check, Jansen jammed as the slightly covering stack, and Clements called off for around 27,000.

Scott Clements: QJ107 All in
Bradley Jansen: K1098

Jansen had flopped two pair and improved to a better two pair on the turn while Clements had a massive wrap. However, the river was the 4 and Jansen's two pair held on to eliminate Clements.

Nedelcu Catches Mascarenhas's Bluff

Level 5

No-Limit Hold'em

Narcis Nedelcu opened to 1,300 from under the gun and was called by Rodrigo Mascarenhas in the small blind and Bob Slezak in the big blind.

On the AJ9 flop, Nedelcu continued for a healthy size of 3,000, Mascarenhas called, and Slezak folded.

Nedelcu fired again for 5,500 on the 4 turn and Mascarenhas stuck around with a check-call.

On the 6 river, Mascarenhas immediately jammed for his final 5,900 and Nedelcu sigh-called.

Rodrigo Mascarenhas: A6 All in
Narcis Nedelcu: JJ

Neither player held a single heart as Mascarenhas made two pair which was no good against the set of Nedelcu as he hit the exit.

Matusow Takes Out Schneider

Level 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tom Schneider from under the gun and Mike Matusow from the cutoff were tangled in a pot with 13,700 in the middle on the turn.

With the board reading 101045, Schneider was all-in for his final 5,500 and Matusow made the call.

Tom Schneider: 9652 All in
Mike Matusow: AAJ6

Leonard took one and Schultz was pat.

Patrick Leonard: 10x9x6x5x All in
Matthew Schultz: 9x8x6x4x3x

Leonard was already drawing dead against the pat nine of Schultz as he hit the rail for the second and final time after catching an irrelevant Qx. Leonard is still enjoying a great start to the summer, but will not find a bracelet in this event.
