Did High-Stakes Poker Pro Angle Shoot Recreational Player at WSOP?

Level 8
Andy Tsai
Andy Tsai

A recreational poker player has accused a well-known Los Angeles high-stakes cash game pro of angle shooting during Day 1c of the $1,500 Millionaire Maker at the 2025 World Series of Poker.

Brent Philbin, who has $226,155 in live earnings according to The Hendon Mob, took to both X and the r/poker subreddit to call out GGPoker ambassador Andy Tsai — better known as Andy Stacks — for what he claims was unethical behavior at the table. Tsai, a regular on streamed cash games like Live at the Bike and Hustler Casino Live, quickly found himself at the center of a heated exchange.

Gregorich Shows Number Two

Level 9

2-7 Triple Draw

Maxx Coleman raised on the button and was called by Mark Gregorich in the small blind. Ray Fishman three-bet from the big blind and both Coleman and Gregorich called.

Gregorich drew one while Fishman and Coleman drew two on the first draw. Gregorich then led out for a bet and both Fishman and Coleman called.

The same drawing action happened on the second round and Gregorich bet again. Fishman called, but Coleman raised. Gregorich three-bet, Fishman called cold, and Coleman called as well.

Gregorich and Coleman stood pat on the final draw and Fishman took one off.

Gregorich bet one last time, which got a fold from Fishman and a reluctant call from Coleman. Gregorich turned over 7x6x4x3x2x for the second nuts and Coleman mucked to award Gregorich the large pot.

Zaichenko Sends Moriarty Home

Level 9

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrey Zaichenko raised under the gun and Ryan Moriarty three-bet from the button, which Zaichenko called.

Zaichenko took two and check-called a bet after Moriarty drew one.

Zaichenko still need two and Moriarty still drew one as Zaichenko check-called.

Both drew one on the end and Zaichenko led. Moriarty had a little under one bet left behind but was faced with a difficult decision with his hand. He eventually decided that the odds were too good and flicked in the call for his tournament life.

Ryan Moriarty: 7x6x6x5x2x All in
Andrey Zaichenko: 10x5x4x3x2x

Moriarty was drawing to a wheel and Zaichenko was drawing open-ended to the five. However, Zaichenko made a ten on the end and Moriarty paired his six as he made the wrong call to be eliminated.

Schulman Doubles Through Harder

Level 9
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

2-7 Single Draw

Nick Schulman was already all in post-draw for over 50,000 on the button against Sean Harder, who had an 11,000 bet in front of him from under the gun.

Harder was deep in the tank and said, "I wish I had played more than like six hands of this game..."

Harder eventually talked himself into a call and Schulman announced "Number three" as he turned over 7x6x5x3x2x.

Harder mucked his hand and Schulman was awarded the double up.

Owen Fires Every Street

Seven Card Stud

John Centeno: XxXx / J34A / Xx
Brad Owen: QJ / KQJ6 / 8

Centeno completed, Owen raised, and Centeno called.

Owen led on fourth and fifth with Centeno calling down.

Centeno showed the higher board on sixth and elected to check-call. He check-called for a final time on seventh as Owen tabled his two pair, queens and jacks, which were good enough for the victory as the Youtube star claimed another pot.
