Friedlander Turns the Ace
Level 32
: Blinds 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Following a hijack open to 480,000 from Allan Le, as had been the trend from the table's big stack for the last orbit, Gary Friedlander shoved from the big blind, for 2,510,000. After a lengthy tank, and a count, Le made the call.
Gary Friedlander: A♥9♠
Allan Le: 10♥10♠
It was looking bleak for Friedlander, but a miracle ace on the turn of the 6♥5♥J♣A♠4♥ runout kept him alive, still to be playing after break.
