Welsh Gets Active

Level 24
Kerry Welsh
Kerry Welsh

Nicholas Tsoukalas opened from the cutoff and Kerry Welsh called on the button.

On the 6JK flop, Welsh check-called a bet and did so again on the 6 turn. When the 4 hit the river, Welsh check-folded, giving up the pot to Tsoukalas.

During the hand, the players were discussing the rail and who is watching.

"My wife could have come, but she has ironing to do," said Welsh. "She didn't want to miss Tuesday ironing," he added with a smile.

Shortly after, Welsh raised again from the cutoff and Moshe Gavrieli called in the big blind.

The flop came 3610 and Gavrieli check-called a bet to the J turn, where he checked again. Welsh then bet, and Gavrieli stuck in a raise.

"Ok, you got it," responded Welsh as he folded.

Not long after that, Welsh raised from under the gun and Gavrieli raised the small blind. Welsh put in another raise, and Gavrieli called.

On the 2A2 flop, Gavrieli check-folded to a bet from Welsh and showed pocket jacks. Welsh was kind enough to show Big Slick as he raked in the pot.
